🌍 Middle East|Standing Firm Amid War: Praying for Protection and Strength for Frontline Churches

【MFCI Mission Prayer Update|Standing Firm Amid War】

🙏 Let us stand together in prayer for frontline churches in the Middle East facing the threat of armed conflict!

📌 Standing Watch on the Frontlines

In March, the area where missionary Rafi serves in the Middle East experienced heavy shelling, with strikes occurring very close to churches within his ministry network. The attacks caused great fear and anxiety among local residents. In response, the church held a special prayer gathering, turning to the Lord and seeking His peace amid the uncertainty.

📌 God’s Amazing Work Amid Difficult Circumstances

Despite the extremely difficult situation over the past six months, the ministry has continued to bear fruit through God’s grace. One new house church was successfully established, four people were baptized, and 20 people received discipleship training!

Over the next six months, missionary Rafi plans to focus on equipping and strengthening existing believers and volunteers for continued ministry.

We invite you to join us in urgent prayer for these frontline ministries:

🙏 Key Prayer Requests

🔹 Peace Amid Conflict: Pray that the Lord will grant a peace that surpasses all understanding, calm the fear and anxiety in people’s hearts, and bring stability to the region as soon as possible.

🔹 Safety of Churches and Ministry Workers: May God Himself be a refuge and stronghold for missionary Rafi, the churches in his ministry network, and all believers, protecting them from harm.

🔹 Equipping and Strengthening Believers: Pray that God will grant wisdom and strength, and guide the ministry over the next six months as it focuses on equipping existing believers and volunteers for effective service.

📖 Scripture for Reflection

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

— Psalm 46:1

❤️ May the Lord watch over His churches and people in the Middle East. May He strengthen those who serve on the frontlines, bring peace amid fear and uncertainty, and continue building His church even in the midst of hardship.
