Turkey is located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia. The majority of its population is Muslim, while Christians make up a small minority. For some who come from Muslim backgrounds and choose to follow Jesus, this change in faith may bring misunderstanding from family members, social pressure, or even the loss of familiar relationships.
We may often hear about these challenges, but imagine living in such an environment. The challenges of faith are no longer just stories we hear; they become part of everyday life. When someone chooses to follow Jesus, they need not only courage but also companionship, support, and continued prayer along their journey of faith.
🔹 Eight-Year-Old Eileen Becomes a Blessing to Other Children
Among the children served by missionary Rufana in Turkey is an eight-year-old girl named Eileen. She is passionate about sharing Jesus with the children around her and often talks about the Bible stories she has learned in Sunday school.
Inspired by Eileen's enthusiasm, missionary Rufana started a new children's gathering. What a joy to see that Eileen not only feels comfortable sharing her faith with children older than herself, but has also created a group chat where she invites other children to pray together every day. Her simple and sincere faith has also become a great encouragement to the adults in the church!

🔹 Pray that the Lord will strengthen Eileen's faith and continue to use her as a blessing to others even at such a young age. May God raise up more children who boldly share the love of Jesus, so that the seeds of the Gospel may take root and grow in more families throughout Turkey.
🔹 Pray for Christian families and churches in Turkey, especially children who are learning about Jesus and growing in their faith. May they become deeply rooted in the Lord's love, grow in faith, and experience God's protection when facing pressure from their surroundings.
🔹 Pray for the upcoming event that missionary Rufana and the children's ministry team from Azerbaijan will be organizing together. May the Lord provide everything needed for the event and guide every detail, so that more children will have the opportunity to hear the Gospel and come to know Jesus.
