In April 2025, Pastor John traveled to Panama to participate in COMIBAM 2025, the largest missionary conference in Latin America. The conference brought together experienced mission leaders from around the world, and their testimonies of God’s work were both inspiring and encouraging.
Pastor John was invited to speak in the seminar “Unreached People Groups and Mission Strategies,” where he shared how to proclaim the gospel in the Buddhist world of Asia. His presentation explored ways to reach and serve Unreached Unengaged People Groups (UUPGs), including ministry among people in Asia as well as Muslim, Buddhist, and Hindu communities. He also introduced how MFCI equips believers from minority people groups to become missionaries to their own people, helping bring the gospel to those who have never heard the name of Christ and contributing to spiritual renewal among unreached peoples.
Reflecting on the experience, Pastor John shared that the fruit of ministry is never the result of one person’s efforts alone. It is made possible through the faithful prayers and support of countless churches and mission partners, and above all, through God’s grace and guidance.
