Middle East|The Gospel Moves Forward: Discipleship, Baptisms, and New Ministry Opportunities

【MFCI Mission Prayer Update|Middle East Ministry Frontlines】

The spread of the Gospel does not stop because of geographical boundaries or difficult circumstances. Throughout the Middle East, missionaries continue reaching out to people in different cities, walking alongside those seeking faith as they come to know Christ and preparing the way for the Gospel to reach more unreached communities.

Missionary Wim has seen encouraging progress in his ministry. Over the past six months, he has led 10 people through discipleship training and baptized 33 people! We give thanks to God for His guidance and abundant grace!

Currently, due to health concerns, missionary Wim is adjusting his ministry arrangements across different cities and regions. He also hopes to expand his ministry into refugee camps in the future, giving more people the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel.

📌 The Gospel Is Reaching More People in the Middle East

Through ministry reports and testimonies from mission fields around the world, we have seen that in recent years, some refugees in parts of the Middle East have begun showing interest in the Christian faith. Some have encountered Jesus through dreams, visions, and personal life experiences.

Mission workers and local Christians involved in these ministries walk alongside those seeking truth through one-on-one Gospel conversations, Bible studies, and discipleship training. Some who come to faith have gone on to receive baptism and become disciples of the Lord.

We invite you to join us in prayer for these frontline ministries:

🙏 Key Prayer Requests

🔹 Health and Healing: Please pray especially for missionary Wim’s diabetes and eye health. May God bring healing, lower his blood sugar levels, protect his eyesight, and keep his legs from the risk of amputation.

🔹 Expanding Gospel Ministry in Refugee Camps: Pray that God will open doors for ministry in refugee camps and guide the expansion of the Gospel, allowing the work to move forward smoothly.

🔹 Safety of Missionaries and Believers: May God Himself be their shield, protecting missionary Wim and all believers in their going out and coming in, and keeping them safe physically and emotionally.

📖 Scripture

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation…”

— Isaiah 52:7

❤️ May the Lord continue to guide and strengthen those serving on the frontlines of the Middle East, bringing more people to know Christ and raising up faithful disciples for His Kingdom.
