Ethiopia Frontline Prayer | Sowing the Gospel Despite Rejection
“Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season…”
— 2 Timothy 4:2
During the past six months, M2M missionary Ebiso has faithfully shared the Gospel in a community where Christianity is met with strong opposition. Because of long-held religious beliefs and traditional customs, many local people have misunderstandings about the Christian faith, making Gospel ministry especially challenging.
As he serves, Missionary Ebiso has experienced rejection, misunderstanding, and various forms of persecution. Simply by building relationships, caring for the community, and sharing the love of Christ, he has faced increasing pressure.
Yet despite these difficulties, he has not given up. With patience and Christ-like love, he continues faithfully sowing the seeds of the Gospel, trusting God to bring the harvest.
Praise God that throughout the past six months, He has faithfully protected Missionary Ebiso through many dangers and challenges. The Lord has strengthened him and enabled him to continue the mission He has been called to fulfill.
🙏 Prayer Requests
- Pray for Missionary Ebiso’s physical, emotional, and spiritual strength. Ask God to remain his shield and protector, giving him wisdom, courage, and perseverance as he serves faithfully.
- Pray that the Lord will prepare many open hearts, remove misunderstandings about the Gospel, and soften people’s hearts so they will respond to the love of Christ.
- Pray that the seeds of the Gospel being faithfully planted will take root, grow, and lead many people to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
❤️ Thank you for faithfully standing with Missionary Ebiso through your prayers.
Every seed faithfully sown is precious in God’s hands. As we pray together, may the Lord continue preparing hearts so that the Gospel will take root and bear lasting fruit.

May God Himself Restore, Strengthen, and Establish You
Over the past six months, through the faithful ministry of Missionary Berki, God has graciously led 550 people to faith in Christ, and 160 believers have been baptized. We give thanks to God for His amazing grace and the abundant fruit of the Gospel.
At the same time, many believers in rural communities are facing severe persecution because of their faith. Some have been forced to leave their homes and seek refuge in other towns. In addition to losing their homes and livelihoods, they are carrying the burdens of trauma, loneliness, and the challenge of rebuilding their lives in unfamiliar places.
Please pray that the Lord will bring healing to their wounded hearts, make a way for them, and provide safe shelter and all that they need, so that they will lack nothing. Pray also that God will strengthen the faith of these new believers, enabling them to remain steadfast in hope and faithful to Christ amid trials. May He raise up faithful pastors and mature spiritual leaders to disciple, shepherd, and encourage them, so that these newly established churches will be firmly rooted in God’s truth and grow in spiritual health.
📖 “And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”- 1 Peter 5:10
❤️Thank you for standing with our frontline missionaries in prayer. Your faithful intercession is a vital source of encouragement, helping persecuted believers remain steadfast in hope amid hardship.
