Central Asia｜Rejected—Should We Still Keep Sharing the Gospel?
Missionary Ruslan in Central Asia often looks for opportunities to share the Gospel while traveling.
Some people are willing to listen.
Others become very resistant as soon as they hear the Gospel.
One time, Missionary Ruslan and his wife were riding in a taxi.
During the ride, he took the opportunity to share the Gospel with the driver. Unexpectedly, the driver became very angry.
He not only refused to listen, but also viewed the couple as people who were full of lies and unclean. He even came close to forcing them out of the taxi.
😔 If it were us, we might not want to keep talking.
But Missionary Ruslan did not give up.
He continued to make use of every opportunity to meet people and introduce them to Jesus.
📢 In the first half of this year, he shared the Gospel with 147 people!
Even more encouraging,
❤️ about 40 people decided to accept Jesus.
Thank the Lord!
We do not know whether the taxi driver who rejected the Gospel that day was changed afterward. But we do know that the seed of the Gospel still needs someone who is willing to courageously sow it.
Sometimes, we are responsible for planting the seed,
someone else may be responsible for watering,
but it is God who truly brings transformation to people’s lives.
🙏 Let us pray together for Missionary Ruslan:
- Pray that the Lord will give Missionary Ruslan courage and wisdom, so that he will not become discouraged by people’s rejection.
- Pray that the Lord will continue to prepare opportunities for him to share the Gospel, so that as he travels, lives, and meets people, he will find appropriate opportunities to introduce them to Jesus.
- Pray for the 147 people who heard the Gospel during the first half of this year. May the Lord continue to work in their hearts.
- Pray especially for the approximately 40 people who accepted Jesus. May the Lord help them become firmly rooted in the truth and grow in their faith day by day.
- Pray that the Lord will use Missionary Ruslan’s outreach ministry to reach more people, so that more lives may turn to Christ through the Gospel.

💛 Sometimes the message we share may not be accepted immediately, but we can still faithfully sow the seed of the Gospel. May the Lord use every opportunity we have to share, and teach us not to stop loving people, praying, or sharing the Gospel simply because we face rejection.
