🇮🇩 Indonesia|Missionary Leo: Demonstrating God’s Love Through Care and Compassion
🌾 Showing God’s Love Through Practical Care
Missionary Leo in Indonesia continues to visit more than 10 families of migrant workers from other parts of Indonesia. He encourages them with God’s Word, prays with them, and builds meaningful relationships while providing spiritual support and guidance.
📖 “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
— 1 John 3:18 (NIV)
🏫 In addition to serving migrant worker families, Missionary Leo actively ministers to Sasak children and their families, including Muslim families and Hindu families from Bali. Four learning and tutoring centers have been established to help children with their schoolwork and studies. Through these centers, the team also builds trusting relationships with parents and demonstrates God’s love through practical care.
📌 Did You Know? Meet the Sasak People
The Sasak are the main Indigenous ethnic group on Lombok Island in Indonesia, accounting for approximately 85% of the island’s population. Most Sasak people practice Islam and maintain rich cultural traditions and customs.
🔥 Every Tuesday, the team gathers for fasting and prayer, humbly seeking God’s guidance and direction for their future ministry.
