Yemen|Let Us Pray for the Missionary Who Has Lost Contact

Missionary Naji in Yemen lost contact with his team for a period of time during the first half of this year.

This was not the first time this had happened.

There had been similar situations in the past, so the team was very concerned and suspected that Missionary Naji may have been arrested.

On the surface, such arrests are often attributed to reasons such as “political suspicion.”

But the team knows that the real reason he may have been placed in danger is likely because he has been sharing the Gospel in different places.

Thinking about this truly breaks our hearts.

Because in Yemen, following Christ and openly sharing the Gospel can come at a great cost.

🔒 Please pray especially for Christians in Yemen who are imprisoned.

The circumstances they face are extremely difficult.

Pray that the Lord Himself will be with them, giving them strength and peace, and helping them remain faithful in the midst of hardship.

🙏 Please also pray for Missionary Naji, who is out of contact:

  • Pray that the Lord will protect him and keep him safe. Wherever he is now, may the Lord be with him.
  • Pray that the Lord will give peace to his family and team as they wait, and that they will not be overwhelmed by fear.
  • Pray that the Lord Himself will make a way for Missionary Naji to return home safely and be reunited with his family and co-workers.
  • Pray that the Lord will continue to protect Christians and Gospel workers in Yemen, giving them courage to follow the Lord even in difficult circumstances.

💛 We may not know what is happening to Missionary Naji right now, but God knows.

When we cannot personally go to Yemen and cannot know what has happened to him, we can still pray for him.

May we not forget our brothers and sisters who are following Jesus in the midst of hardship.

📖 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.”

John 14:27

🙏 May the Lord protect Missionary Naji and every Christian in Yemen who is facing hardship. May the Lord be their ever-present help.
