【COVID-19 Relief Update】 Morocco
Jemaa el-Fnaa Square in Morocco had been well-known as the square that never goes to sleep. However, ever since the pandemic, stores have been closed, one after another, the streets have been left empty. In April of 2021, the pandemic continues and the government had issued new restrictions, further straining the economy of the country. There have been a total of around 520,000 cases and around 9000 deaths.
Being a country of mostly Muslims, often Christians are marginalized and at times persecuted for their faith, especially if they were from a Muslim background. However, our team in Morocco has continued to show the love of Christ during these times, distributing goods to help around 21 families. Please keep them in your prayers.
