【COVID-19 Love Relief】 Myanmar

Myanmar has been in constant civil war throughout the ages. For a while it was finding stability, but with the coup in February, that stability was once again overthrown. During this team, people have gone to the streets to protests and the government has retaliated in violence. creating greater unrest.

At the same time, COVID-19 has also not spared Myanmar. In the midst of the current unrest, people are losing jobs and those in the villages are lacking basic resources.

In response, MFCI’s local team has ventured into the mountains in the midst of this choas to the help the needy families. They have shared, “In times of difficulty is where there is greater need for the gospel. We must go into the villages to preach!” Thus, at risk of being persecuted or attacked by armed groups, they have gone into the mountains, helping family by family and preaching the gospel, so that no soul gets left behind.
