Pray for Sudan — May God’s Mercy Reach This Land

“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light.”
— Isaiah 9:2

We believe that even in the midst of war and darkness, the people of Sudan can still experience God’s light and hope.

Sudan is currently facing a severe humanitarian and civil war crisis.

Since the conflict began in 2023, fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has continued across the country. Many cities, villages, and civilian communities have been affected by violence and destruction.

Countless families have lost their homes, food supplies, and access to basic medical care.

Today, more than ten million people have been displaced, and many regions are facing severe hunger and food shortages.

Hospitals have closed, schools have stopped operating, and humanitarian aid often struggles to reach areas affected by the conflict.

Women and children remain among the most vulnerable.

According to reports from several international organizations and Open Doors, local churches and Christians are also facing significant challenges.

Some churches have been damaged, occupied, or forced to close. Many believers face pressure, threats, and persecution because of their faith. Christians from Muslim backgrounds often face even greater risks.

Yet in the midst of war, hunger, and persecution, many Christians in Sudan continue to stand firm in their faith.

Despite uncertainty and danger, they continue to worship, pray, and trust God for His peace and mercy.

🙏 Please join us in praying for Sudan:

▪ Pray for an end to the conflict and for lasting peace.

▪ Pray for protection for refugees, women, and children.

▪ Pray that humanitarian aid can safely reach those in need.

▪ Pray for strength and encouragement for local churches and pastors.

▪ Pray that the Gospel and the hope of Christ will continue to shine in the darkness.

“God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.”
— Psalm 46:1

Lord, have mercy on Sudan.
