🇮🇩 Indonesia|Praying for Ministry Workers in High-Pressure Areas and Believers Facing Persecution

📖 “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.”

— 2 Corinthians 4:8–9

📍 On the Frontlines: Standing Together in Prayer

✦ Ministry Workers in Restricted Areas and a Brother in Prison

In one province of Indonesia, a Christian brother has been imprisoned on charges of blaspheming Islam, while ministry workers are under police surveillance. With the team facing scrutiny from the police and authorities, they must exercise extreme caution in their ministry.

Despite these difficult circumstances, the team continues to rely on the Lord for wisdom, support one another, and faithfully carry out the mission Jesus has entrusted to them.

✦ Challenges and Restrictions Facing Island Ministry

A ministry team serving on a remote island has faced numerous internal and external restrictions in recent months. Some ministry activities have come under strict scrutiny and regulation, and several foreign missionaries have even been forced to leave the country.

These repeated challenges have left local believers and ministry workers feeling fearful and discouraged. Yet the team still longs to depend on the Lord and continue moving forward one step at a time.

Pray that the Lord will make a way for gospel ministry to continue without interruption. May His Word and love continue to take root and bear fruit, even in difficult circumstances.

🙏 May the Lord be the strength and refuge of our brothers and sisters facing persecution. May He protect those serving on the frontlines, strengthen the hearts of local believers, and make a way for the gospel to continue reaching people despite every obstacle.
