🇳🇵 Nepal | From the Bondage of Fear to the Freedom of Truth
Even an everyday conversation at a driving school can become an opportunity for the Gospel!
Missionary Bhipana shared that while attending driving classes, he often talked with his instructor and gradually developed a good friendship with him. Through their conversations, he learned that the instructor also practiced as a traditional healer.
Yet this role had not brought him peace. Because of various rituals and taboos, even his daily food and activities were restricted. He often lived with the fear that if he broke one of the rules, he might experience a curse.
💡 From the Bondage of Fear to the Freedom of Truth
The instructor’s experience reminded Missionary Bhipana of his own sister, who had once gone through similar struggles. It was not until she came to faith in Jesus that she experienced true salvation and freedom.
Because of this, the missionary shared with the instructor about the peace he had experienced and the good news of the Gospel.
The instructor admitted that he was curious about the Bible. Although he initially experienced some physical discomfort when he began exploring it, his wife greatly enjoyed participating in church fellowship. After hearing the Gospel, the instructor was deeply touched and even took a Bible himself, eager to read it again.
✦ Praise God! Through what seemed like an ordinary friendship, He opened a door for the Gospel. May the Lord continue to work in this man’s heart, causing the seeds of truth that have been sown to take root and grow.

Pray that the Lord will guide this instructor as he reads the Bible and learns about the Gospel, helping him gradually understand the truth and experience peace and freedom from fear. Pray also that the Lord will bless his wife and family and lead them to know Jesus Christ more deeply.

Missionary Bhipana has faced ongoing health challenges. Pray that the Lord will personally heal and sustain him, giving him sufficient grace and strength and keeping him healthy in body, mind, and spirit as he serves on the frontline.

Pray that the Lord will use every everyday encounter and conversation as an opportunity for the Gospel. Pray also that He will raise up more people who desire to seek the truth, so that the seeds of the Gospel will continue to grow in families and communities.
