🇹🇿 Tanzania|From Hearts of Stone to Hearts of Flesh

Tanzania is a country with many different ethnic groups, languages, and cultures.

Although there are many churches in the country, some ethnic groups still have very few opportunities to clearly hear and understand the Gospel. Among these unreached peoples, very few have ever heard about Jesus, and there is often a lack of churches and ministry workers who can share the Gospel in their local languages and cultural contexts.

For this reason, every heart that is willing to listen to the Gospel and every life that is transformed is deeply precious. 🌱

Over the past six months, one of the most encouraging things for Missionary Makoye has been seeing the change in several village elders.

At first, these elders strongly opposed Gospel ministry in the village. Some villagers also had a resistant attitude, creating many challenges for the ministry.

Yet God did not stop working.

Through continued prayer, care, and relationship-building, the attitudes of the elders and villagers gradually began to change. Some who had once opposed the Gospel began to believe that God is real. Some elders even became willing to work alongside the missionary, helping villagers learn about Jesus.

Today, some people in the village have begun turning to Christ. Some of the elders have also believed in Jesus and accepted Him as the Savior of their lives. 🙏

From rejection to a willingness to listen, and from opposition to working together, we see God changing hearts step by step and opening the way for the Gospel!

📖 “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”

— Ezekiel 36:26
