Liberia Frontline Prayer | Pray for Peace Amid Religious Tensions

“If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”
— Romans 12:18 (NIV)

The village where M2M missionary Tori serves in Liberia has faced serious challenges over the past two months.

Because some of Tori’s preaching and teaching have come into conflict with local traditional beliefs and practices, traditional village leaders have opposed the church, forcing it to suspend its gatherings.

The situation has worsened, with individuals using masked figures associated with traditional religious practices to threaten Tori. For their safety, Tori and several church leaders have temporarily left the village.

Please pray especially for the negotiations scheduled for August 16. May the Lord intervene personally, soften the hearts of both sides, and remove misunderstandings and barriers. Pray also for the safety of Tori and the ministry team. May God grant them wisdom, humility, and grace, enabling both sides to communicate in love and peace and seek an appropriate resolution.

May the Lord Himself become the Prince of Peace amid these tense relationships, so that the work of the Gospel will not be hindered.

We invite you to join us in prayer for Tori, the M2M missionary, and the local church in Liberia.
